About Jason

Graduating from the University of Bath in the UK with a 2:1 Honours degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, with stints as a placement in medical electronics and consumer electronics, the latter working on system implementation control and data acquisition design for new CD/DVD drives, Jason started his post-graduate engineering career at the former British Steel, whereby he worked on the CAPL (Continuous Annealing and Production Line) as a elecro-mechanical Technologist, one of the largest capital expenditure projects in the United Kingdom of 1997.

Returning to electronics design in 1998 in the Avionics Industry, where he excelled in systems and electronics design for a wide range of high reliability projects, Jason founded Templetronics in 2003 to provide an independent design service to Client companies.

Since 1998, Jason has served various companies in at a Senior/Principal Engineering level, as an employee in his earlier career, and since forming Templetronics, as an independent supplier, Engineer and Consultant/Advisor.

A UK Chartered Engineer since 2003, and again from 2019, and a member of the IET, IEEE, and an avid suppporter of IPSE, the UK representative body for independent professionals, Jason offers significant industrial, technical and professional experience.

Since the company was founded, Jason has travelled across and the UK and internationally on business to assist Clients on a wide variety of diverse and technically challenging projects.

In his spare time, when he has some, and isn't assisting Clients with their projects, Jason enjoys socialising, playing drums, photography and travel, most notably spending 6 months travelling solo across South America in 2010, and being fortunate to have visited more than 38 countries to date.
